Registration Information

The Classic 2027 will be held at the Westover School, 1237 Whittemore, Middlebury, CT 06762

Parking instructions will be announced a month before the competition.

SCHEDULE

Friday, March 12th - Master Classes

Saturday, March 13th - All Classical Solo Variations

Sunday, March 14th - All Contemporary Solos

Registration fees include master classes and complimentary digital videos of your performances. Registration fees are non refundable and non transferable.

Each school will receive a secure online file folder where you can upload competitor music, and view competitor registrations.

SCHOOL CODE

Every participating school must have a 3-Digit School Code provided by The Classic Team. If your school participated in The Classic from 2018 to present, your school already has an assigned school code, please contact your school’s administrator for your code.

For New schools participating in the 2027 competition OR you are an Independent competitor, please fill out this form to receive your 3-digit code.

MASTER CLASSES

Master classes will include a classical technique class and a contemporary class.

Master Classes are not mandatory and will NOT be deducted from registration fees if you choose to opt out.

MUSIC UPLOAD

Please upload all competition music by Friday, February 12th, 2027.

Each track must be renamed using the following format:

Example Classical:  age division-category-jane smith-variation title-school code

Example Contemporary: age division-category-name of piece-school code

We ONLY accept .mp3 and .m4a files.

You can upload several tracks at a time by selecting multiple tracks and dragging and dropping them into your music folder.  

All uploaded music MUST meet the above requirements. All school representatives must have backup audio files available in the event a music file does not play properly.
